Most people expect removing structural, load bearing walls is an expensive home improvement, although it can be a dusty job it is not as costly as you may think for the rewards you gain from open plan living.
Wall removal is a popular home improvement because it creates the feeling of a bigger home by changing your existing layout, but as with all structural works around the home needs to be done right… NDB Qualitybrickwork.co.uk

Testimonials

I recently purchased an old terraced house in need of restoration and modernisation. I wanted to create a large open space at the rear of the house by removing a wall, removing a chimney breast [party wall, full height through rear bedroom into the roof space] and opening up two garden facing walls to take full height french doors. Because of the nature of the work and its possible impact on the house’s structural integrity as well as next door’s integrity, I needed a builder in whom I could have full confidence. The decision to appoint Noel of NDB Quality Brickwork was easily made and one that proved to be 100% the best. The work was completed in a safe environment and the quality of the work was outstanding. I had structural drawings for building control which in one aspect proved to be incorrect, Noel however, stepped in, took control and changed the steel specification to provide the actual support required for the house which was subsequently signed off by building control. Thank you Noel for everything. CharlotteJc
